Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”

You probably heard this line so many times in your life but in some unknown reason, its either you like it, you’re still trying, or you just cant do it. There are just some people that are too busy that they can only enjoy food when everything settles down in the evening.

I’m on the “still trying category” or a new category called “inconsistent”. I like having breakfast in the morning, specially if its already prepared that all i just need to do is sit down and eat. There are times that I was too eager to prepare food for breakfast specially if its weekends. All in all, I guess it falls down to preparation.

Thus recently I decided to include oats in my diet. Aside from quick and easy preparation, Oats is considered as one of the many healthy breakfast you can have.

It was actually after a friend of mine suggested it to me to take hot tea in the evening and oats in the morning to eliminate fats in my tummy easily. So I bought tea, and found Quaker Oats in the market.

I’ve done it eventually but comes the problem that I felt unsatisfied about how the oats tasted. So I decided to try some of the flavored ones and/or tried including bananas, raisins and chocolates in my meal. Adding milk will also make your oats in the morning tastier.

One of my favorite brand is Quaker Oats becuase of its variety. I tried their Lugaw and Champorado pack and I love it! I also love buying the flavored ones like banana and chocolate as well as the fruits and nuts variety which I love mixing with Valrhona Vegan Granola I got from Blk 513.

Have you eaten your breakfast already? You should. Breakfast provides the body and brain with fuel after an overnight fast, breaking the fast – breakfast! gets?! And oh, nutritionists advise it is best to eat breakfast within two hours of waking. Enjoy.

And now for the recipe. Honestly, I’m still a newbie in making my breakfast extra special, all I know is the basic fruits and nuts mixture (or sometimes whatever is available in the kichen) so I browse Pinterest (check out my feed here) and saw this very informative post.  Hope this helps.

How do you enjoy your Quaker Oats?
